Finally Sunshine

I got to photo my newest painting. Because of the rain the beginning of the week, I couldn't take a photo. I like to take my pictures outside with my Canon because I don't use flash. So, I was waiting and waiting. I will even get to take my bike ride outside! Who knows maybe I'll come across some thing to paint.

Happy Holiday every one! I want to wish all my supporters and patrons a wonderful holiday and great New Year! It has been a good year and I am looking forward to 2016. I hope to be painting just as much and selling more. I have learned a lot about marketing and there is so much more to know, but I am making progress. I have been painting my whole life but marketing is relatively new to me. It is a joy to know that people like what I do. I love to create art and I hope it can bring happiness to others.

New Friends

New Friends

Birch trees are my favorites they stand close together like friends. Well, today I was delighted to meet some new art people at the Kent Art Association. It
was a pleasure to chat and talk "art". I'm looking forward to joining the association and becoming a part of the art community to share future goals and
ambitions.

I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe Thanksgiving.

Spring

Spring

Hello my friends,
I've been creating every day, waiting for some signs of spring to show up in my gardens. Soon maybe I'll be able to paint some flowers. I hope so. This is my latest creation, a little pumpkin still hanging on from the fall's leftovers. It's the star of this painting, still shining until hopefully being replaced by some blooms. I hope you like it.
Happy spring days,
GD

Happy New Year

Happy New Year

I hope everyone's had their share of eggnog and been a little naughty this holiday. If not, 2015, another year to do so. So, my expectations for this year are, to draw, paint and draw some more. To love what you do is the best of all and have the time to do it. I think everyone should have a little of that in their lives. So, here's to getting to do what you want sometimes. Cheers!
